The Foundation
LONElake Media Production is a media production company and creative collective — a group of filmmakers and creatives coming together to make film projects with more female representation, from the top down and on set. We believe in the power of collaboration — of building teams where people push each other creatively while also holding one another accountable to something bigger than any single project.

This isn't about pushing anyone out. It's about making space for those of us who want to change the narrative. For too long, leadership on film sets has looked the same — and supportive roles have too often been where the conversation about representation stops. We want to go further than that. On every project, we aim for at least 50% of our producing team to be women or LGBT-led — not as a soft goal, but as a real, trackable commitment.
We want to see that change reflected in leadership roles, not just supportive ones. That same commitment extends to our crew. We believe accountability has to be built in, not just talked about. Knowing where we stand — how close we are to our goals on any given project — is how we know where we still need to grow. It's a standard we hold ourselves to as much as anyone else.

Authenticity

Resilience is what keeps us moving when things get hard. This industry is brutal — full of setbacks and pressure to constantly outperform. True resilience isn't just bouncing back; it's learning from failure and using it to fuel the next step. We may take breaks to reset, but we never stop creating.

Empowerment is at the heart of everything we do. This industry can be intimidating, and certain voices — especially women and those without the "right" connections — often go unheard. That's why we built LONELAKE: to make sure people are seen for their work and their journey, with real feedback, real opportunity, and leadership roles that reflect who we're fighting for.
